Honey museum

A journey into the world of production, standardization, and packaging of beekeeping products: honey, propolis, beeswax, and much more. You will познакомиться with traditional methods of honey harvesting and packaging and learn all about the fascinating life of bees. You will taste various varieties of honey from all over Crete, as well as many other unique products, and, if you wish, you will be able to purchase them.

Traditional tavern 

Lunch at one of the most authentic village tavernas in central Crete, in operation for almost one hundred years. A distinctive feature of this family-run taverna is that all dishes are prepared exclusively from organic products. You will enjoy wonderful traditional dishes, coffee, homemade breakfast items, raki, or wine in the very heart of Crete — a small, idyllic village surrounded by greenery.


Unique Snail farm

The only snail farm in Crete (entrance fee €12) — a small, authentic farm run by a local couple. The farm is located away from crowded tourist areas, in a genuine rural setting. The snails are kept in a greenhouse, so the visit takes place in the shade, in a cool and comfortable environment.
The duration of the visit is flexible, allowing visitors to feel relaxed and at ease. There is also an opportunity to talk with the owners about the life of local residents.

Olive Park & Museum

A place where you can learn about the olive-growing process and the production of olive oil, the most famous Cretan product. Depending on the chosen package, you may simply stroll through the park or book a private guided tour with a tasting. You can also visit a shop offering products made from olive oil.

The trail leads to the Minoan Peak Sanctuary on Mount Juktas, one of the island’s most sacred ancient sites, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Along the way, you will visit the Church of Christ the Savior (Master Christ Church), a place of silence and reflection. This hike is ideal for those who wish to combine outdoor activity with Minoan history and the authentic atmosphere of Crete.

Cretanthos Olive Park & Museum

This tour includes a visit to just one location — a traditional Cretan farm. However, you will see and taste a wide variety of fascinating things there. You will learn how Cretan herbs are harvested and dried, how olive oil is made, how traditional cheese is produced, explore the basics of beekeeping, and visit a pottery workshop. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to sample local wine and raki.

In addition to observing, you may choose to take part in hands-on workshops focused on preparing traditional Cretan products. The journey concludes with a cup of coffee by Lake Voulismeni, in the center of the charming town of Agios Nikolaos.
