Kissamos – a modern seaside town known since the Dorian period. Features a pirate fortress, fishing harbor, and port for trips to Gramvousa and Balos.
Topolia Village – traditional settlement above the gorge of the same name, with dramatic views and many caves. The most famous, Agia Sophia, has huge stalactites, stalagmites, and a vast hall.
Chrysoskalitissa Monastery – 17th-century Orthodox monastery dedicated to the Holy Trinity and the Dormition of the Virgin, built on a rock above the sea. Legend speaks of the “golden step” visible only to true believers.
Elafonissi Beach – world-famous for pink sand, white dunes, turquoise waters, and unique flora of the peninsula.
Sfinari Village – valued for wild natural beauty and local hospitality. Several fish tavernas, dolphins often spotted offshore.
Platanos Village – scenic spot combining sea and mountain holidays. Near the famous Falassarna beach. A large plane tree in the center gave the village its name.
Falassarna – wide sandy beaches with crystal waters and ruins of an ancient Hellenistic harbor, just north of the coast.
